History

The Women In Product Toastmasters Club was sparked by an #ask in the Women In Product FaceBook community in September 2020.

"I'm trying to improve my public speaking skills and possibly build the confidence to do a meet up session.... so my question is:

For those of you who do public speaking how did you get started? How do you go about figure out a topic? Do you present on the same topic to different groups and refine it over time?"

Community is a powerful force and a few short weeks later, the club was organizing its first meeting, navigating club establishment, and recruiting over 20 members. In December of 2020 the Women In Product Toastmasters Club was officially chartered.

We are so incredibly grateful to be part of both the Women In Product and Toastmasters communities. Places where we can reach out, receive support, and forge our futures together.
